Mr. Adams told us that Robspierre was no good. something about killing lots of people who sounded like they had anything to do with royalty. anyway, what do you like about him? and who is fotch?? thanks

Robspierre had good qualiies and bad qualities, though to a non-radical they're almost all very bad. He was fantastically dedicated to creating a lasting French Republic based on Liberty, Equality, and Brotherhood. Most of his comrades were too. What made him different from most was that he was uttery, uttery ruthless in achieving it; no cost was too great. If liberty and equality and a republic government had to be sacraficed now so that they would be strong and institutionalized later, that was acceptable ( ... )
