This couldn't have been easy to say, but it's very well said. I don't know of anyone in an abusive relationship (not one that I know is abusive), but if so, I would send them here. Thank you for posting it.

quite a thing to remember a unhappy childhood......and make all that effort in your adult life to move past it, disconnect from it and/or start someplace else, something else and not base yourself anymore from their influence but decide what you are on your own :) it's no easy thing to do at all. hugz.
