This weekend has been probably one of the worst ever. On Thursday I got my wisdom teeth out. They took all 4, and they were all impacted which made them very unpleasant. I woke up during the extraction of the last tooth and was really disoriented from the anesthesia so it was like having a horrible nightmare where you're strapped down and the ( Read more... )

Yeah so far nothing bad has happened. But nothing amazing to make up for the weekend, either. I'll keep waiting.

Oh man, I'm really sorry, I know what it's like to lose a pet, but I couldn't imagine going through all that, and in just one weekend. I hope your next week is much better. It can only go up from there. *hugs*

oh man, sorry to hear about things piling up on you like that. I think I'd be in pretty much the same boat as you if I lost a pet... that feeling never really made much sense to me until now.

Are you going to get a new rat or are would that be weird?

Well I still have Stella, but Webster was almost like a dog to me. He was a companion and loved being around people and got excited when I'd walk into my room. She's just like "meh. Can I have a Yogie?" and I'd hate to replace him and get another rat like Stella. That's what happened in January when Scooter died; I got a new hamster and I like her but she's nowhere near as cool as Scooter was. So I'm leaning towards no. Plus, 2 out of the 3 rats I've had died of respiratory ailments in their first year. Webster was a replacement for Sophie who was a litter mate of Stella, and I just can't take the hurt if that's going to continue happening. I need more resilient pets.
