Armand and I made an offer on a house on Friday. I'm 90% sure we won't get it because it's a foreclosed multi-family and it's a really good investment property, which means some jerk with deep pockets will have no problem dropping $119K cash on it. I don't have $119,000 cash

You can't settle down on the east coast! I need you! I'd say buy my parent's house but they already have three offers on it...and it's expensive.

Caitlin, you are right. I can't settle down on the east coast. I don't like it here all that much. This house is more like a 5 year sort of deal, and because it's a multi-family, we can move away and either sell it or continue to rent it out.
