Most of my posts this fall have spoken of events, golf, and me being busy all the time. There's a large gap in all of that: academia. Honestly, this year I have felt like I have been a bit lapse in my scholarly pursuits

In an art history class, we were instructed to choose a piece from a show and write an analysis of it.

I was the first person in the history of that class to write about a piece I didn't like.

When asked why I did it, I said, "I was completely uninspired by all but that one."

"But you didn't like it."

"Exactly."
