The date with Valerie Archer went well. She didn't seem to detect anything amiss and I managed to get some information from her. Her view is that Humans are a threat due to the alliance with the Borg (I did warn you about this, didn't I, Kathryn? kathrynjaneway). We parted on friendly terms. Or so I thought

I have already noted in my log, Commander, that I am putting you down for a special commendation for your actions in this incident. The information you were able to obtain for us, as well as your persuasive arguments during the actual negotiations, were invaluable.

(And perhaps you were right about our initial alliance with the Borg as well, but that's all water under the bridge at this point.)

Have a good time on your last 'date' (but not *too* good a time *g*), but remember that we're breaking orbit at 2200 hours.
