7 [video/action route 32-Violet city]
[Today we see Rachel out on Route 32 with her Squirtle. Leo's just finished taking out a Mareep, and earned another level. Rachel's checking her Pokédex and sighing.
She nudges the little turtle after a second with her foot.]
So what's wrong with you, huh? I've looked at this thing, like, a dozen times, and it says you're supposed to evolve at level sixteen. You just turned nineteen and nothing's happened. What are you, a late bloomer or something? Can Pokémon even have late bloomers? I mean, I didn't really think it was like puberty, but come on. Give a girl a break here. You're supposed to be awesome.
[Leo turns and gives her a stubborn look crossing his arms, making aggravated remarks at her.]
Don't you take that tone with me. Just, be cool, okay. Evolve. When you evolve, you get stronger, right? We want to be the best, don't we? [She crosses her arms right back at him, and raises an eyebrow? The look clearly says 'do you want to mess with me?'
After a brief stare down Rachel, turns rolling her eyes and notices the gear in Grizzly's arms.]
Why do you always have that thing? Here, gimme that!
[She takes it and addresses the camera.] So my Squirtle isn't evolving. Is that, like, normal? Is there a way to fix it?
