At last I have a job! Of course, it's not paying as much as I would like and typically I've applied for 3 more jobs that I would prefer to get, not just because they pay more but because they are ideally suited to my background etc. but beggars can't be choosers! I'm glad I've got the job - I think I'll enjoy it and money isn't everything! I

What sort of company will you be working for? *is nosy*

I will be working as a Human Resources Administrator for the Prescription Pricing Authority, a branch of the NHS. I start, pending references and medical clearance, on 31st October.

Congrats on the job. I think you'll find that if you at the bottom of a scale that you'll get an automatic increment each year. So if the year runs from April you'll get a pay rise then. That's waht happens in college anyway.
