I love this verse and this one was so hilarious. I loved especially the Oyewale part, which was really perfect. Oh, and Kirk's advice about starting Cold Wars *snicker*

... a half-witted Engineering crewman who couldnae align a plasma coil without written instructions and a flashing sign sent down by God.

Hah! Hilarious!

Kirk’s movie choice, a year or so ago, remains with everyone: a four hour epic, mostly in beige tones, that was somehow supposed to evoke sadness, hunger, loss and regret through the medium of discordant music and courtly dance - the crew is split in thinking Kirk’s actually into that sort of thing, and thinking it was a ship-wide punishment for that whole Tribble incident.

I am snorting my drink through my nose at this! Great!

That last one, where you tie in a previous piece about the ongoing betting pools maintained by Sulu and Chekov, is brilliant!

And the one on Oyewale's choice--so touching.

This whole thing is awesome! I'm glad you're doing more!

Hee. I bet Kirk actually just really likes 22nd Century abstract emotionalism, but he'd never say because he doesn't want people to know he's secretly a literary geek.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope that your wellspring of inspiration doesn't dry up. The only thing I can't forgive you for-- the idea that Ad Archer is considered a hero by even ONE person.

Oh man, this is quite possibly my favorite of the series so far. Completely brilliant mix of humor and friendship and touching and just...gah. Brilliant. Especially love Winters film choice and McCoy's reaction, and Scotty's continuing cold war with Archer (against Kirk's advice).
