This story is mostly going to focus on the relationships among the women, but Illvin will definitely get a moment or two. ;)

Seriously, I'm so glad you're writing this as I've thought myself how self-reliant Iselle was with no parents there to rely on, and how she'd come to terms after Paladin with a mother once considered mad and now respected (and a saint of the Bastard). I very much like how Iselle picked up on Ista's sense of rightness and confidence in herself, as well as her interesting companions!
Can't wait for more when you have chance. :)

I got the idea when I started thinking about how close in age Iselle and Liss are. That's an interesting dynamic, that is.

p.s.- Did you invent the name Soriknet? I don't remember that one from the books. But if you did, I thought it fit in really well with the other place names from the series.

I did make up the name of the district, and I'm glad you think it fits! I looked at some of the other Roknari names and tried to match the syllable structure and consonant patterns.
