Social Anxiety

I like sitting in the corner and by myself. I do it on purpose. I don't need someone to sit by me and "be my friend". I don't like being pressured into conversation. I will politely answer "Hello, how are you?" but I will usually give a brief answer. I'm content with the few friends I have who know I'm quiet and reserved; they don't require much ( Read more... )

Very cool post, Chaliren.

All those times I've sat in your living room, I played XBox in your family room, I stayed in your spare bedroom, the hours that Chalain and I have gabbed away at some restaurant while you sat quietly listening and occasionally throwing in an interesting or more often Chalain-embarrassing comment, I really had no idea what a indication of trust that was.

Now I do. Thanks. And I'm glad I'm one of the safe ones.
