Walk through Garlic Wood

 Went for a walk the other day with Zara and we were delighted by the wonderful wild garlic flowers. I have been making wild garlic pesto for the last few weeks - something which I look forward to every year. It really is something else!

I´d love to try your recipe, but there is no wild garlic around here.
I always loved the smell also and the flowers are so pretty

It's best if you pick the leaves before it flowers - it loses some of its potency. But I picked some the other day and it was still very, very nice! We are addicted to it!

I see quite a bit of this ...it's such a pretty flower, but to pick it and include in a bouquet makes it smell all garlicky!

I never thought of making a pesto...hmmm. I'll have to remember this!
