There's an extra "but" there. Which sounds like something Jack would say to Liz when mocking her in Season 4. Grrr.

Thanks... poor Liz. Re: the card - hee, one of my guilty pleasures (to read in fic) is when one character writes a note/letter to another, because it feels so revealing and immediate to me, idk. But when I stopped to think about what Jack would actually write to Liz, it pretty much ended up that way. Even when we've seen them affectionate they kind of have that distance.
