I wish people wouldn't off-handedly say to me "you need help". I know I do. It's sort of a touchy subject.

Maybe I'm being too sensitive.

Maybe the neuroses are eating my brain.

Maybe I put too much rum in this drink.

"you need help", is like "i love you". it's a phrase that gets thrown around a lot. usually, they're just offering their sympathy and that shit is useless. don't bother getting offended. it just slows you down on your way to helping yourself.
