[it all started with something so simple as a cough, so long ago. a cough that had never quite gone away, leaving him short of breath with the taste of blood at the back of his mouth. he'd never told anyone - everyone had simply assumed him weakly, but he'd lasted long enough, and longer than most others.

today, with the humidity in the air, it was impossible to hide it, sending Hanbei into a fit, leaning against one of the walls inside Osaka Castle. hopefully no one was on their way down here, but he was coughing so hard that it left dark spots on the side of his vision, and there was no way he could tell.]

[ Mostly. Ollie here is mad because of the giant-ass tiger leaping out of nowhere. THE RISKS OF MISSIONS IN THE WILDS OF THE WORLD AND WHAT HAVE YOU. What makes him really mad, of course, is that he managed to fail at dodging said giant-ass tiger (made tranquilizing it much more satisfying). That bitten-body-part-we-assume-is-his-shoulder, that's totally just a flesh wound, though. He'll be flipping tables with both arms in no time.

Possibly kicking them over if the tiger has a buddy looking to take out the other arm.

...yeah, maybe he'll just start working on putting pressure on that baby before he loses too much blood and starts quoting Monty Python. :| ]

Geez, you think they'd warn us before dropping us down here that, hey, maybe while you're busy saving the day a giant hungry tiger will come out of nowhere and try and bite you!

Well- at least we can say it's still attached. [ And unlike all those inhuman stoic weirdoes in the League, there is no poker face in the face of tiger-induced wounds. That crap hurts, he is not happy, and you're not Canary so he doesn't have to act like it's just a papercut out of a foolish belief that it will impress you. Jeez, all the complicated psychology. ]

'course, you think they'd send in at least one person that wouldn't have to worry about a tiger coming out of nowhere to bite them in the first place! [ He is so yelling at J'onn later. And then at Batman for roping him into the League to start with. Could've been saving a mini-mart right now, but noooo. Not directed at you though, Wally. 8Db You're fast but he's pretty sure tripping over the wrong rock or something would've had that tiger putting you down.
