How does it take AT&T a full YEAR to figure out that I somehow didn't pay my whole closing bill on my old account? How is it even possible?!?! Also, how is it possible that I still owe(d) money on that account, even though I went to an ACTUAL CINGULAR STORE and talked to an ACTUAL PERSON and paid my ACTUAL BILL with my debit card, and it went ( Read more... )

I had a very similar experience with Verizon. I paid things off and was told by a nice lady on the phone that it was all settled, bye-bye. Six months later comes the nastygram. They sure don't give a rip when you stop buying frmo them.
