I seriously want to curl up in a nice comfy chair and stare at that map/cityscape all day.

I use a fine grain paper texture just to add noise and a grungy paint on metal image to create the brush mark texture. It's really lazy and once set up for the pages I don't need to do anything for them.

Cool. How does the paint on metal bit work? Do you add it to the whole image or just select areas?
