My little furry girl is loving her new house. She used to have only 1 bed and 1 loveseat. Now she has 2 beds, 2 loveseats, 1 sofa, and 1 reclining armchair. So many places to shed, so little time. At the moment, I'm down in the living room with my laptop (yes, it's back from the shop, and they swear they could find nothing wrong) on the coffee

I love hearing about Nikita. I definitely want a cat when I move off on my own. 2.5 pounds is no small weight loss for a cat-- good for her!

I'm glad she's enjoying her new house :) I hope her sore clears up soon!! My cat at home, Sugar, has been on a diet. She has to lose three pounds in the next six months. I wish I had a timeline like that ;)

I wouldn't let her outside. If you do you WILL get fleas. Its almost a given if you have an indoor/outdoor cat. Just one cat with fleas will spread to others and you'll never be rid of them.

I don't understand the tartar thing either. Maybe if we switch to a dental type of food that would help. Two of my cats have bad problems. The vet showed me that they lost of their front teeth. I feel bad cause I don't take them to the vet as often as I should. Half the time I don't have the money to spend.

Not directly replying to this post. But, oh my! A person who also adores Martin McDonagh! I visited your LJ to see just exactly who you are, and saw that you and I had so many interests in common! Then I read you had a Sherpa for your cat (I have one for my dog). And your name--Zenobia. I don't know if that's its origin, but I immediately think of The Blithedale Romance. How lovely!
