I am really sorry about the whole episode witht he CPS and all that. I know how hard it can be to be a parent and have to deal with people scrutinizing your parental practices.

Sounds like things have been quite crazy for you. Do you think you and your wife will be ok?

Thank you for your comment, the wife and I some how keep rolling along. We'll be ok but it wont be easy, it never is.

That seems a bit over the top to send social services around immediately? If a person admits to something far less likely to be beating his kids, the evil people aren't going to admit anything to social services, they don't want to change!

Also why do you have to make all the trips to Tesco in one night?! Can't someone phone you and ask you to pick up bulbs while you're there? Or doesn't your wife drive? It seems a bit unfair you having to do all this after a day's work no less!
