Hey. Trust me, it's going to be hard. My best friend in the world lives in California and I hardly get to see him. Comparing California to Florida with Australia to Florida...definitely no comparison, but the bond you have will last a lifetime. It is a true blessing to find one person in the world that no matter what you will share a lifetime bond with...your other half...the person that makes you whole. Many find that in relationships with a partner, and some find that in a friendship that no obstacle could break. You two will be friends forever, and 6 months apart is just a drop in what we call a lifetime. I'm glad you have found a friend like that.
