Gah yes. Not only is it racist, it's not even funny! It kind of sucks that Adam Corolla is dead to me now.

granted the joke is pretty bad...
what exactly did you accomplish by spreading the link to more people?

By "spreading" this link, I hope to bring more awareness; racist acts like this can still blatantly occur in the media today ( ... )

it's just a joke chuang January 31 2006, 08:55:48 UTC
I will clap with one hand if you get a single person to email/call/snail mail anyone on that list. Even if someone seems to care about this remotely as much as you do, any sort of correspondence would not even result in a slap on the wrist. There are hundreds of black and mexican jokes, and I have yet to see one of them cry about this sort of thing. In fact, one could even go as far to say that there aren't enough jokes about Asians in the world today. Aside from the occasional "ching chong ching" rant, "koreans eat dogs" punchline, or one of Dat Phan's recycled jokes, there really isn't that much Asian representation in the world of comedy. Perhaps what we should be doing is encouraging comedians to come up with better material on the Asian population, then maybe one day it will escalate to a point where we're complaining about something that's actually bigger than a joke.

Now granted, I'm apart of the the ethnic group that has dominated the world over the last few centuries, but I have to agree with chuang. Simple bad taste. And pretty obvious.

If anything, it reminds me of Team America and their take on the mileiu of Middle Eastern languages. Dirka dirka.

it is kinda strange that such an argument can last for so long... but anyway, people have their own opinion at what's funny and what's not.

I just think that if you're against one racist joke, you ought to be against them all eh?
But yea, if this joke got to you, you kinda did help spread the joke >.< i think that's what chuang was trying to get across
