I had a great week-end. I spent Saturday geocaching and snowshoeing in Annapolis Royal, on a beautiful winter day. The sun was shining, it was about 2 C. Lots of people to meet and conversations were had

I hope you don't have it either! When I had it, my throat hurt ridiculously badly.

My mom called me up from Florida, told me I'd had strep once when I was much younger, and then diagnosed me with the flu and chastised me for not getting a flu shot. Hahah Oh my. :)

I'm off work for the 3rd day in a row and going a bit bonkers because of it. I've never been off sick for more than a day! I seem to get hit with these random spikes in temperature. Yesterday morning, I was feeling pretty darn good then by the arvo I was just miserable and tired and drenched. Bleh, I will recover!

Sounds like you might have had a sinus infection. the ear pressure and weird feelings of hot/cold are signs I may be fighting one. I had one this week I couldn't shake, so I had to see the doctor for antibiotics before it got too worse.
