I'm still shocked by the images of yesterday's Metro crash. Un-fucking-believable. Like everyone else around here I'm very curious as to how this happened and what caused the proximity software to fail and why the driver didn't pull the break. It's very unsettling

I can't explain the proximity software failure, but there's a current trend right now with texting and railway accidents. No word yet if that's the case this time, as well, but it might explain why the driver didn't pull the break, if she was too busy Tweeting...
