I went and saw harry potter this morning. It was pretty good, but the books are so much better. the people who play Ron and Hermione have really come along well as actors, whereas I find Harry quite stilted and flat. After that I watched Donnie Darko on video. Its a bloody fantastic video,

the scene - inspiriational self help guru, Jim Cunningham, is giving the teachers and students in the high school gym a lecture on facing fear, and loving yourself. Donnie gets the chance to ask a question. then he gives his own advice. It's not what people want to hear...

Jim Cunningham: Son, it breaks my heart to say this, but I believe your a very troubled and confused young man. I believe you are searching for the answers in all the wrong places.

Donnie Darko: You're right, actually, I am. I'm pretty troubled and I'm pretty confused, and I'm afraid. I'm really, really afraid, really afraid. But I? I think you're the fucken antichrist...

I recommend you all see it, even if just to hear the analogy about the sex lives of Smurfs... Please excuse me if my cut didn't work, it is my first try.

Back to work tomorrow. Another day, another dollar... My shrieks are fading over the flight reservation/ credit card dilemma I've had. I've bought new tickets, but now they are not with the guys I am going with and I'll have to sit around at the airport by myself for a few hours...

Right now I'm just finishing up my judging for the Spuffy Awards. Its been fun. Angel will be on later, and I'm listening to the GotR. I've done a littlw bit of writing tonight too, so I'm feeling a little proud of myself. I've decided to dye my hair before the convention. at the moment it's brown, with red highlight, a bright red 'corvette red' streak in the front. (it used to be violet haze, but it kept fading too quick, to green!). oh, and I've got massive regrowth. have I freaked you all out yet? I'm gonna get it put back to it's natural darker brown. I don't know if I'll keep the streak. I love it, but it is so high maintainance, and I'm the type that allows seven minutes from the time I get up to the time I leave. oh, angels on. Bye!!! (sorry bout the spelling!)(
