backstory: karen and i both have magical ways of affecting the world around us. hers involves wearing special panties (ask her about snow panties and 'dan and emily are not having a tryst' panties). mine involves pretty much anything ending in -fu; it started out as park-fu, in which any car i'm in is guaranteed to get a good parking space, even in adams-morgan. i decided to try applying it to jobs as well, and it does seem to work... :)
