I never knew my parents together, and for that I am glad. I never had to adjust to a life with split holidays, because it was all I knew. All you can is make sure you spend time with everyone, and look at it this way: double gifts, double good time =) But really, the past never comes back, it is what it is ... and you will eventually get there :)
