Esme got worse. She wasn't interested in food or water, not even when I put some chicken broth in the water to make it taste yummy. She was clearly in a lot of pain so I took her into the vet to have her put to sleep

Aw, thanks. I buried her about an hour ago. There's a tiny rat cemetery in my backyard now. Placed far, far away from the little cat cemetery.
