Coffee and Wifi

Dana sits in a little coffee shop near work. They have wifi, but she uses her own secure connection with their own hardware. Even so, she's doing some of the more boring bureaucratic work. When she's done, she's got a digital copy of some interesting journal articles as a treat ( Read more... )

It's no small wonder Raya shows up at the same place, though it's not what you'd call really close to the Sanctuary. She has Dana's business card in hand, flicking it over her fingers, as she waits to get a coffee drink she's fairly sure doesn't actually have coffee in it.

Cafe Americano has never been her favorite.

Dana catches sight of Raya standing in line. She smiles and waves her over, clearing a space for her on the other side of the small table. "Hello! It's a pleasant surprise to see you again," she says, smiling.

"Hey," she smiles, taking her drink and getting a rare smile from the barista that makes it.

Leo manages to get a sweet smile from the barrister when he orders a cup of black coffee.
He looks for a seat, and wanders over to the red-head,
"Hey ma'am hate to bother you, but can I sit here for a few minutes?

Dana smiles politely and clears her things off the other half of the table. "Certainly. I'm sorry, I didn't realized the lunch crowd had arrived." She slides the folders back into her bag.

She shakes her head as she slides the bag under her chair out of the way of the lunch time patrons. "Not at all. This is just some boring bookeeping."
