I really don't understand much of what's going on with all this. But the editor-in-chief at SA was trying to explain it to us the other day, and he laid it out in pretty simple terms. He was referencing one of our latest articles.

And it seems like the government really needs to do something sooner rather than later to avoid a deep recession.

The more I know about it, the more I waver about the bailout, but I'm still on the fence because of the way we passed the bailout, with bills stick on it like gum rolling around on the floor, and money being passed out with little consequence for the people taking it.
I realize something like this was likely necessary, but not entirely.

Well, more interesting than complaining about an economic bill that's already passed anyway, but mostly getting back into biking again, I've gotten up to 18 miles, a personal achievement though nothing by most standards (though the flab around my stomach and hips seems unaffected; is this a product of getting close to thirty or is my exercise intake too little to affect that ring of flab?) and just a few weekends spent with friends like going to the zoo, drawing, and more biking. :]
