Work is surreal at times. Sometimes, I think work doesn't know what to do with me because my position was created by my former boss who doesn't work here anymore. Also, I'm probably a lot more forgiving about what I do than someone with more experience/fame/ego would be ( Read more... )

This isn't the same grandma who turns the light on to check on you, is it? She sounds feisty in any case, lol!

Now, who says painting carpet isn't serious bizness? Hehe...
I was almost commissioned to paint the steel floor of the robo-games battle arena (because Henry judges and helps prepare for the shows).
Painting odd floors? That's a conversations starter, right there...

Glad to hear that about your Grandma. Did the carpet get crunchy when you painted it? I like your ray picture!

One week after and I saw the carpet again. No cruchiness! The painted part just looks a bit more solid than the non-painted part. Guess I thinned it out and layered it enough to work.
