So this weekend, I headed to SC, the old slug stomping grounds, with dakinestuff (well, kinda dragged her along) to see the Illustrating Nature show and meet this year's crop of Science Illustrators. They all have beautiful, strong pieces and it was nice to see Ann again. Ate at a couple of old SC hangouts and picked up free comic books from the

Sad to say, yes, but that was because I also hadn't seen Firefly yet, and wanted to see Serenity after seeing Firefly. Do hope things continue with that series. With Joss as the head, things certainly seem more of a possibility.
