Saturday night was the culmination of a larkish decision, as I went with da kine stuff to go see The Decemberists at the Hollywood Bowl. Inspired to listen to them live when listening to them play acousticly on the show "Sound Opinions" on NPR, which prompted a search on their website of concert dates, and finding out they were playing locally on

Wow, I'm glad you guys went to the concert. Wish I could have joined you! Andrew's music is actually a pretty recent discovery, but the first time I heard the name was when he collaborated with the Squirrel Nut Zippers on an album Ann K was listening to one of those long work-nights at the UTC. I'm glad you enjoyed it. He seems like a super-cool guy.

P.s. I want to see Ratatouille! :)

LOL, we're all infecting each other with our music!!! UTC brought me Interpol and Beck from Matt, and Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, and Snow Patrol from Melissa T.
Now I have the power to turn pple onto indie/alternative! Muhahahaha!

You gotta send me them pictures! I found an article about the concert in yesterday's LA Times. Then the Decemberists were on Jay Leno. They're everywhere now!
