If I ever get to see you again, am I allowed to use "proem" in conversation? Or is that essentially the same thing as saying “I read Sally’s LiveJournal?”

I am coming out to California one of these days, actually. I have two friends out there now (three, counting you!) one at UC Santa Cruz, and one (pregnant!) in Orange County.
