Suddenly Last Minute

I'm doing lighting for a show at uni and I'm starting to stress out about it. They're doing a production of Suddenly Last Summer (Tennesse Williams). I'm doing lighting design and operation, but I haven't really give much thought it. Lighting design for studio 1 isn't something to stress about. Just make up something, but some blues and reds in occasionally and that's it.

As for the rest - well, you've graduated beyond the "Helen's odd friend" stage, and are definitely an "okay guy" in your own right with us now :p

not in studio 1, but I've been in there and seen what it's like. I've done lighting in the cellar at usyd, that's getting bad.

I'm like that too - I'd rather be doing anything but what I'm meant to be doing, except for watching TV, being on the net or reading, which I do quite well without any prompting. I can't believe I spent my evening watching Charmed, then two episodes on Law & Order: SVU!

And I agree, you have passed the stage of Helen's odd friend =). Besides, we are all "Helen's odd friends".

I'm sure I asked you this before, but what are you studying? I think in a way it's better to have a smaller course, I've been in pretty massive courses and it seems even harder to meet nice people.

I'm doing Town Planning. It's a pretty tiny course, by I must get to know more people in more course. I suppose we are all Helen's odd friends. That sounds alright to me :P.

Well you did an awesome job on Suddenly so don't stress. I know how you feel with the friend thing. Since moving to Sydney pretty much everyone I've met has been through NUTS or Revue. There's like 2 pp I met through class and Georgie, Zara and Alec I guess but they're all doing Revue now too. And because I see all my NUTS friends doing NUTS things I never actually go out anywhere other than the Rege. You me Georgie, Zara and Bonne should go out sometime though.
