I am constantly hearing of some new study that shows just how much you're messing up your kid.  If they watch television, they'll lack a desire to be active.  If you let them eat candy, they'll use sugary foods as a crutch in their life.  If you spank them, they'll be abusive.  If you don't spank them, they'll never learn.  There's always a study
