ACTUAL REVIEW:
Saya is emo all ay at school because she feels like no one notices or knows what happened last night. No one knows her paaaaain. George picks her up after school, and he takes her to the tomb where he found Saya. David has given George until sundown to tell Saya about what happened. George tells his life story to her, about how he was told to watch over Saya during the Vietnam war and how he had a wife and daughter that were killed in a bus accident. He was about to commit suicide in his family tomb, but Saya's heartbeat told him to keep living. I can't make this shit up. So instead, he adopted Kai and Riku, two orphans, and raised them. When Saya woke up a year ago, he swore to raise her as his daughter. Saya laments what she should do, and George says he can't tell her that. They go home.
David is waiting for them. He explains he's a part of an organization called the Red Shield, which hunts down the Chiroptera, and that Saya is needed to kill them. George's friend the hobo Chiropteran arrives, and transforms partially. David wastes no time and shoots it, but the monster heals and smashes David against a car. It rushes for George and Saya, but Haji is there to save the day. He once again hands Saya her sword, telling her to fight, but she refuses. So instead, George takes it, and tries to attack the Chiropteran, but is slashed across the stomach. Kai arrives to see Saya wangsting over their father lying in a pool of his own blood.

From anti-Americanism to Saya being useless at the most inopportune times, this is like a light version of why I hate this show.
