I have a bad feeling that I am missing some important piece of information here that I should remember vis a vis your family life right now. Sitting vigils sounds difficult, testing.

Nothing to remember - it just happened. Dad had a 2nd heart attack yesterday. Am driving out to PA after work this morning to see him. Thank you for the hugs and the thoughts...they are needed, and welcome. : )

Life and death walk hand in hand -- but as my mom says (and as I believe), they are not opposites. Birth and death are the opposites (the bookends)...life goes on.
