Hey, good to see you around!

I was on vacation for only 4 days and it was EXHAUSTING! But I did feel strangely refreshed when I got back, so I hope it will be the same with you.

My kids go back on the 7th. We can both reclaim ourselves after that, I hope!

Yes, vacation with kids somehow never quite lives up to its name, does it? ; ) Here's hoping back-to-school for them means back-to-self for us!!

KINDERGARTEN! There is light at the end of the tunnel! It's only half-day, but still...

I know about the whole time-blurring thing, believe me. I think I invented it. ; ) Where are yours this year?

And even as I am psyched for them to go back to school, and for Elf to start kindergarten, there is this small part of me inside that whispers "Already? Where did the time go?"

Yes, I took that pic - thank you! It's one of my favorites. In my head I call it "tangled sun" since it looks like it's all bound up by strips of cloud. It was an amazing sunrise.

I missed you too, and am glad to be almost back to normal. It's amazing how much time and energy are diverted when the kids are home from school full-time...I can't imagine home-schooling!
