The other day I was at a Big Box Retailer and of course I found myself in the book section. I picked up random books based on the title and/or cover art, reading the blurbs on the back and sometimes the first page to get a taste. No, dude. I do the same thing. I have a book idea--IDEA, not even a book!--that involves a certain fantasy element that isn't used very much in the market today and every time I see a book deal announced using that element I feel like I've been ripped off. Which is, of course, completely ludicrous.

But, you know, The Crazy helps with the writing ;P

No, I think we're on to something here...it's like that Tom Cruise movie where they arrested people for future crimes. Only people are stealing our future book ideas!! Your tin-foil hat is in the mail. You can thank me later. (I crafted yours with ears so it looks like your favorite cougar cap.)
