Wow! There is a lot of interesting stuff to read and experiment with in this weeks explorations, I got so carried away and before I knew it hours had gone by, but isn’t that the way with the internet. Nice job on making the "showing and not telling" connection. I know that is something I struggle with in my writing. Don't the sites complement the reading well?!

I agree with you in that when you grow up in your childhood neighbourhood it is a lot easier for you to remember details from your past, because they are around you everyday! I could walk around my neighbourhood and tell a story about each and every area that I have memories from. But I also don't think about them as much when I see them everyday, when I'm sure that if I had moved away for a period of time and came back I would all come flooding back is it did for you ( ... )

I find this is especially true in Victoria, as it is a smaller city. (at least compared to China :) ) I have been traveling around the world for a total of 3 years since I was 17. Everytime I come home I have floods of memories, good and bad, that come rushing back. I always find it a litte overwhelming.
