Im not...as entirely worried about before, but am still considering pre med as an option....you entirely become a slave to music, not to mention that my parents don't want to let me hire a new teacher...the one that I have now begins every lesson with "so, what are we playign this week?" and continues to say "wonderful wonderful!" throughout..its

it's like a scholarship/money award thing
and you get to make up your own rep based on their requirements
http://www.nfaa.org/disciplines/Music/MusicSpecsWoodwinds.htm
navigate around the site, you can hear the winners from last year. anddd you have to sign up like right now, it closes October 1st and the recording has to be sent by November 1st, so you have time to throw together some pieces (which I'm sure you have enough of)

You wrote to Ms. Chan and she didn't want to hand out the sheetmusic...yes, I get that.
But where did you get the clip that's playing on your website, and is it you?
Did you figure the piece out, or did you borrow the clip from somewhere else...
Cause maybe I could transcribe it from the clip.
I only found one other clip on google, and it was a young asian female (I'll go find it again) but it wasn't as clear and open a tone as the clip on your website.
So thus the confusion.
Who's playing on your clip?
Best,
Jen (just call me Jen---I'm really not too formal.) :>)

Geeze, you're nice to answer me so quickly.
I found the composer's name {Yoshiko Ogawa}, but alas, no composer home page, no contact email, and no listing in Japanese composers page, and no sheetmusic....duh...
I feel googled out.
Can't find the website for Reiko Chan. Doesn't seem to want to google.
Yes, I'm very curious about "little known" sheetmusic.
I have some too.
Maybe trade???
hahahhahaa!!!
But I'm sure you're too busy to bust your tiny one on this project, what with everything else you're doing.
Don't worry if you don't have time.
But if you do get some time, I really do have some cool pieces.
Best,
Jen P.S. thanks again for your kind replies
