It's just - that bit when he grabs at her back in a mixture of 'MARIAN IS KISSING ME' shock and 'I MUST HOLD HER WHILE I HAVE HER' and maybe a little 'MUSN'T LET HER GET AWAY FROM ME'. Gets me every time.

You know, the more douchey Robin becomes, the more I totally 'get' Guy/Marian. Watching the old episodes back, I'm totally rooting for them rather than for Bobbin. I can almost hear myself shout 'GO FOR THE SMOULDER, MARIAN, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!'

Haha, dorkitude is right. I know how ridiculous his "I just wanted to sweep you off your feet" is in S1 and YET I still love him for it.

In my head she doesn't realise how much she enjoys kissing him. And afterwards she wonders why kissing Robin feels rather...different. (Robin can't help but suffer in comparison?)

MARIAN: My father is dead. I need time to grieve.
Heh, I always interpret this line as Marian being all 'being around Guy prevents me from concentrating properly on reasons why I shouldn't be with him so I need to give some reason, any reason, that'll get me away so I think clearly again'. Oh, Maz.

Man that bit makes me go 'awwwwww' every time. The contrast with Robin's smooth and suave ways is just too stark. I HATE it when Robin comes off a charming.

He's always been a little slimey/smarmy that I've noticed?
