obviously stupid people close their supermarkets at 8 in the evening.
I just realized though... perhaps they just don't have the man-power to stay open later??? Like... we have WAYYYY more people than they do! So could their lack of people to work and even buy have the biggest impact???? I'm thinking I might be on to the enigma that is Wisconsin!
i figured that the reason they were open then is because most people there are farmers...so they only need to be open at the times when we here would normally be at work...so about 12 to 3 is going to be the hottest part of the day, they are going to not be working in the fields and such and therefore can go shopping at that time...by the time it is later at night, they are probably too tired to do anything having worked in fields all day and might even have later hour chores that need to get done...i think it was the difference between a more industrial based economy that we have and the more agricultural based economy that they have...it could also be a man power thing in such a small place as where we were...maybe cause of the farming...i'm sure madison would have been different, but it was a crazy long drive...
