Caffeine = productivity
A little hyper but maaaaaan those 500ml cans of Mother are freaking awesome energy drinks (I'm not getting paid by them I swear).
Flogging out stuff for my thesis atm, gotta man up and talk to the workshop guys on Monday if they're in on the public holiday, otherwise it's pushed back til Tuesday. Really running out of time to get things done. Knocked off the abstract for my conference paper and now with the daunting task of all the literature :/ Man I feel like crying but I can't really hold a steady thought in my head for too long. I think if everything goes to plan I might actually be able to produce a reasonably good thesis, although I have a bad feeling that all the work I'll produce is not particularly original. Still, I'm sure UWA will appreciate the gained capabilities of producing low-cost, low-scale aluminum fly-ash composite components... Yeah, I think I saw it on their Christmas wishlist.
Also Bunnings is pretty sweet, picked up a drill press for ~$120 and it's gonna be used in my project. Speaking of cash, I got my $900 from the government the other day (well the letter from them saying that I did). Sweet. Maybe I'll take another holiday since job prospects don't look too great for the next 6 months, or even 18 months D:
Cutting back on badminton, but I want to try for the WA state team (non-age restricted). It'll be held in Tassie, and if I'm not employed in a career-related job by August, it seems like a great idea. Hey, I think I know what I can use that $900 for lol. So yeah, anyway, back to thesis.
