'Here's to the opening of our shop,' Junho said with a grin, holding his wine glass up and Sunggyu held his up too with a grin.

'Yeah. It's finally up and running.'

Junho glanced around the restaurant as he brought his glass to his lips, his eyes lingering on the entrance and the people who had just walked in, and choked a bit on his wine as the faces registered, and he put his glass on the table hurriedly, hand coming up to catch any spillage.

Sunggyu's eyebrows furrowed. 'Are you okay? What's up?'

'Three of my exes just walked in together,' Junho replied breathlessly, dabbing at his mouth with the napkin, his eyes still fixed on Wooyoung, Woohyun and Hoya as they settled at their table. Sunggyu's eyebrows raised, and he twisted in his chair to follow Junho's eyeline. His eyes widened and he whipped back around.

'That table over there?' he asked, pointing his thumb over his shoulder in their direction.

'With the three really attractive guys? Yeah, I know, I have good taste, be flattered,' Junho told him, his eyes darting back to Sunggyu.

Sunggyu gave a short laugh. 'Yeah, whatever. Um, do you by any chance remember me telling you that I'd had like three serious relationships before you?'

'Yeah...' Junho said slowly.

'Well, you're never going to believe it, but-'

'You're shitting me,' Junho said, his mouth hanging open incredulously. 'Which one?'

'All three, they are my three,' Sunggyu laughed and Junho gaped for a moment more before laughing as well.

'They're my three too.'

'Seriously? Wow.' Junho looked over Sunggyu's shoulder again. 'Have they seen us?'

Junho shook his head. 'Doesn't look like it.'

'Should we send them a bottle of wine?' Sunggyu suggested with a grin. 'I know Woohyun would appreciate it.'

'Oh, we should. Yes,' Junho replied, his eyes sparking with glee and Sunggyu called a waiter over.

'Could we send a bottle of wine over to that table please? Red.'

'Cabernet Merlot mix, if you have a good one,' Junho added and the waiter nodded.

Sunggyu took another sip of his own wine as the waiter walked away. 'You were in Korea long enough to have three serious exes?' Sunggyu teased and Junho rolled his eyes.

'Remember when we first met, I told you that my only serious boyfriend in Japan was Korean? That was Woohyun.'

Sunggyu coughed in surprise. 'The guy I broke up with just before I went to the States was Woohyun.'

Junho let out a loud laugh. 'We were talking about the same guy and didn't know. I can't believe it.'

'Me neither.'

'The wine's there,' Junho said with a nod over Sunggyu's shoulder and Sunggyu turned in his seat just as the waiter gestured towards their own table, and they both grinned and raised their hands in waves as three pairs of eyes widened identically at the sight of them.

Woohyun said something and the other two turned to him in surprise, talking and then looking at each other with equally wide eyes. Junho laughed. 'Something tells me they didn't know either.'

They watched in amusement as words were exchanged and Wooyoung flicked Hoya with his napkin, and then Hoya was standing up and weaving through tables to get to them.

'So, as the youngest, I've been enlisted to come and invite you guys over to our table,' Hoya said with a grin.

'How do you guys know each other?' Junho asked, curiosity overriding all social niceties.

Hoya laughed. 'Funny story, that. Woohyun was actually my first ever boyfriend, and I've been dating Wooyoung for almost six years now.'

Sunggyu made a noise of surprise.

'You're shitting me,' Junho said again and Hoya grinned.

'Wanna know what makes it even more unbelievable? Wooyoung and Woohyun dated years ago too. I only recently found this out myself.'

'You're shitting me,' Junho repeated and Hoya shook his head.

'Nope. So, do you two wanna join us or what? It could be fun.'

Junho looked at Sunggyu.

'Well, we haven't ordered yet, so. Yeah, why not?' Sunggyu said with a grin.

‘Great,’ Hoya said with a smile, reaching out to grab their menus while Junho got up and went to go tell the waiter they were moving, taking his wine with him.

‘So you look… a lot more sober than I remember you,’ Hoya said with a laugh as he and Sunggyu moved across the restaurant and Sunggyu chuckled.

‘Yeah. Took me almost a year, but eventually I figured out you were right, and I couldn’t live like that forever.’

Hoya nodded. ‘You just quit?’

Sunggyu shrugged and took a sip of his wine. ‘Mostly, yeah. I mean, I still smoked weed- Woohyun can attest to that- but I haven’t even done that for years now. Now it’s just alcohol and the occasional cigarette for me.’

‘That sounds a lot more sustainable,’ Hoya said with a grin as they reached the table and Sunggyu laughed in agreement before turning to the other two at the table.

‘Hi,’ he said with a slightly sheepish grin.

‘Hi,’ Woohyun and Wooyoung chorused, and greetings went around the table again a second later when Junho got there.

‘I think I might owe you an apology for how I left back then,’ Sunggyu said to Wooyoung once they were seated, and Wooyoung waved a hand.

‘Don’t worry about it, it was like a decade ago, I’m over it. I mean, I was kind of expecting it as well, so…’ Wooyoung trailed off with a shrug and reached for his glass.

‘You were?’ Sunggyu blinked in surprise.

‘You were tragically disillusioned,’ Wooyoung said and Woohyun glanced across the table.

‘You know he only told me a month before he left that he was going to America,’ he commented and Wooyoung gave a small laugh.

‘I got a cigarette box with sorry scrawled across it,’ Wooyoung shared.

Woohyun winced. ‘Ouch.’

‘See, a month’s forewarning was me being kind,’ Sunggyu told him, and then gave a small laugh. ‘But. Sorry about that, I guess.’

‘You just left?’ Junho said from Sunggyu’s other side. ‘That’s harsh.’

‘I wasn’t it in a very a good space and- it was a long time ago, okay.’

‘So how did he leave you?’ Wooyoung asked Hoya innocently and Sunggyu snorted.

‘Oh, sure, just assume I left.’

Hoya chuckled. ‘I actually broke up with him. I wanted to stop using and he didn’t, so.’

‘Using?’ Junho asked and Sunggyu gave a small laugh.

‘Drugs,’ he said and Junho’s mouth formed a small o, before he and Woohyun turned to stare at Hoya.

‘You did drugs?’ Woohyun asked and Hoya scratched his neck.

‘He did a lot of drugs,’ Sunggyu commented, leaning back in his chair with his wine.

‘You did more,’ Hoya shot back and Sunggyu wrinkled his nose in grudging agreement. ‘You know those like, snowglobe things that are like sea themed, with the water and little suspended fish in them? With the glitter?’

Wooyoung, Woohyun and Junho nodded and Sunggyu groaned after a second.

‘He had one of those in his apartment for some reason,’ Hoya told them, ‘and at one point he just sat there in front of it and spoke to these fish for like a week. He’d come home from work and just talk to them.’

Junho turned to look at Sunggyu hiding his face in his hands with a laugh. ‘You spent a week talking to plastic fish?’

‘It wasn’t a high point,’ Sunggyu admitted, reaching for his wine again.

‘How did you two meet?’ Woohyun asked, indicating Sunggyu and Junho. ‘Last I knew, you were both overseas. In different countries.’

‘I moved to America about five years ago, and met him in Chicago. I was singing a Nell song, and he joined in,’ Junho explained and Wooyoung raised an eyebrow.

‘You still listen to Nell?’ he asked Sunggyu and Sunggyu rolled his eyes.

‘Don’t you start. Yes. Yeah, we only moved back last month.’

‘This has to be like, the biggest coincidence ever,’ Woohyun declared, ‘We should all play the lottery.’

Hoya was frowning slightly and turned to Wooyoung.

‘Your dancer boyfriend in high school, was that by any chance Junho?’ Hoya asked. Wooyoung nodded and a grin spread over Hoya’s face and he shot Junho a glance. ‘When you said he was big on the importance of stretching, you failed to mention that he also stretched before sex.’
Junho choked and Woohyun and Wooyoung snorted.

‘Oh, is that what you do in the bathroom?’ Sunggyu said with a grin and Junho punched his arm, his cheeks red.

‘You still haven’t let that go?’ Junho demanded and Hoya shrugged.

‘It’s a very unique characteristic.’

‘Stretching is important,’ Junho insisted.

‘Hands up who’s pulled a muscle during sex,’ Hoya remarked dryly.

‘I actually did, once,’ Woohyun said and Junho folded his arms pointedly, victorious expression on his face.

‘Oh, I remember that,’ Wooyoung said suddenly and Hoya looked at him in surprise. ‘It really killed the mood.’

‘Sorry I’m not super flexible,’ Woohyun sniped and Hoya closed his eyes and shook his head with a helpless laugh.

‘I have a million and one scenarios as to how that could happen running through my brain right now and it’s you two and- this is weird.’

‘Sorry,’ Woohyun apologised.

‘Uh, we should probably decide what we’re eating. Our waiter looks like he’s getting a bit antsy,’ Sunggyu added, glancing towards the front as he reached for the menu, and a mumble of acquiescence went around the table and the other four did the same.

november

‘Can I tell you something?’ Hoya asked idly, lying on the couch and craning his neck to look at Wooyoung sitting in one of the armchairs, his feet up on the coffee table.

‘Mmm,’ Wooyoung hummed, glancing at Hoya over his newspaper (he was reading the comics).

‘Remember that dinner where we ran into Junho and Sunggyu?’

‘It was pretty memorable, so yeah.’

‘It was. So, remember when Woohyun said he’d pulled a muscle once while you guys were having sex?’

Wooyoung lowered the paper. ‘Yes...’

‘And I said the images running through my head were weird?’

Wooyoung nodded. ‘That’s completely understandable. I mean, I guess normally people don’t really want to imagine their current partner having sex with their ex- even or especially if it’s a mutual ex.’

‘No, but see, I do,’ Hoya explained and Wooyoung’s eyebrows shot up. ‘Weird was not the right word to use to describe what I thought about the images running through my head, but I didn’t think saying I thought they were hot was appropriate, given the setting.’

Wooyoung put the newspaper aside and looked at Hoya. ‘And have you thought about those images again at all?’

‘They may have crossed my mind a few times,’ Hoya admitted and Wooyoung nodded his head slowly.

‘Who did you find hotter?’

Hoya rolled his eyes and chuckled. ‘It was the combination, don’t go getting jealous. I am very happy, and in love, with you. Which is why I’m telling you.’

‘That the idea of Woohyun and I fucking turns you on,’ Wooyoung said, pursing his lips to keep the grin off his face and Hoya laughed.

‘If you want to be crude about it, yeah.’

‘What is it? Reminiscing about how he was?’ Wooyoung asked.

‘Not really,’ Hoya replied, ‘It was a long time ago, so details are a tiny bit hazy. Also, we never actually had sex.’

Wooyoung blinked, surprised. ‘Really?’

‘We were both still in the closet, and living with our parents, so the risk was just too great. I mean, we did pretty much everything else, but we never actually got to penetrative sex.’

‘Penetrative sex,’ Wooyoung repeated, ‘Wow, that’s. Really a horrible term for it.’

Hoya snorted. ‘Would you rather I say buttfucking?’

Wooyoung paused to consider this. ‘I’ll get back to you on that. Can I let you in on a secret?’

Hoya peered back at him. ‘Yeah?’

‘I might have imagined you and Woohyun a few times.’

Hoya hoisted himself up into a sitting position. ‘Wait, really?’

Wooyoung nodded, smile tugging at his lips. ‘So I guess we both still find him attractive.’

‘I guess so. Hmm.’ Hoya flopped onto his back again, staring at the ceiling for a few moments. ‘What’s he like in bed?’

‘Insatiable,’ Wooyoung replied, ‘Or at least he was with me.’

A small smile curled Hoya’s lips. ‘Was he now.’

‘You guys have been to Sunggyu and Junho’s shop, right? It’s practically exactly like the record store Sunggyu worked in before he went overseas,’ Woohyun said over dinner.

‘Except for the teaching rooms at the back,’ Hoya pointed out, and Woohyun inclined his head.

‘Well, yeah. It’s a bit bigger too. And they sell instruments too. But they’ve got a record section, which is great.’

‘You like that section too? I love that they’ve put the listening area there, it’s so comfortable,’ Wooyoung added and Woohyun nodded. ‘I never saw the place he worked before, was it like that?’

Hoya and Woohyun exchanged glances.

‘I think they’ve taken the idea and improved it,’ Hoya said and Woohyun made a sound of agreement.

‘So it’s actually nothing like the record store Sunggyu worked in before he went overseas,’ Wooyoung clarified with a grin at Woohyun, who chuckled.

‘Yeah. I gotta go to the bathroom, be right back.’ He stood up and headed across the restaurant, and Wooyoung turned to grin at Hoya.

‘Okay, I know we said we were going to broach this topic later, most likely at home, but we actually have to do it now.’

Hoya raised his eyebrows. ‘Why, you can’t wait another hour to ask him out?’

‘No, but, he’s just gone the bathroom,’ Wooyoung pointed out, looking very pleased.

Hoya stared at him. ‘And?’

Wooyoung rolled his eyes. ‘Oh, come on. Remember how you told me that you confessed to him in the school bathroom? And I told you that he hit on me in the bathroom at the club? He’s just headed into a public bathroom, it is practically fate.’

‘Your idea of fate is very weird if it revolves around public bathrooms,’ Hoya remarked dryly.

‘Come on. We can’t throw away this opportunity. Go talk to him,’ Wooyoung urged, his hand on Hoya’s thigh.

‘Why am I talking to him again?’ Hoya sighed.

‘Because you’re better with words than I am,’ Wooyoung replied impatiently, pushing at Hoya’s thigh.

‘You managed to convince me to do this easily enough,’ Hoya muttered, moving to get up from his chair and Wooyoung grinned at him before getting up himself.

‘Why do I listen to you again?’ Hoya asked with a chuckle as they moved towards the bathrooms.

‘You’re just jealous you didn’t think of it,’ Wooyoung replied and Hoya laughed.

‘I suppose it is rather appropriate.’

‘I’ll wait out here,’ Wooyoung said, stopping just inside the door, behind the wall blocking the rest of the bathroom from view, nodding at the guy leaving, ignoring the weird look he got in return.

Hoya chuckled and shook his head before going in and leaning against the sinks.

Woohyun came out of a stall not long after and started when he saw him. ‘Hey. What are you doing in here? Because it’s obviously not relieving yourself.’

Hoya laughed. ‘No. I wanted to talk to you.’

‘So you followed me to the bathroom,’ Woohyun replied dryly, ‘instead of waiting for me to get back to the table like a normal person.’

Hoya snorted, shooting an unnoticed glance towards the entrance. ‘Yeah, I thought this conversation needed a bit more privacy.’

‘Well, that sounds ominous,’ Woohyun said, waving his hand under the tap, water streaming out.

'Can I ask you a bit of an odd question?' Hoya said, and Woohyun looked over from where he was washing his hands.

'What constitutes an odd question?' Woohyun replied with a laugh.

'How do you feel? Like, seeing Wooyoung and I, and Sunggyu and Junho, and then...'

'Me, living a lonely sad single life?' Woohyun laughed and shrugged, wiping his hands on his pants and leaning his hip against the sinks. 'I don't know. It's weird to think, you know, that with the smallest change in circumstances it could be me with any one of you, leading a disgustingly content domestic life. It's weird especially because I'm jealous, and to be honest, I'm not sure of who.'

'You ever think of being with one of us?'

'Of course. I think in this bizarrely unique situation, it's to be expected.'

'Ever think of being with me?'

Woohyun narrowed his eyes at Hoya. 'Where is this conversation going?'

A smile flickered across Hoya's face before he took the last step towards Woohyun and pressed his lips against his.

Woohyun's eyes widened and a small squeak emerged from his throat, his hands coming up to push Hoya away, but Hoya just grabbed Woohyun's hips, pulling him closer and continued kissing him persistently until Woohyun gave in, his eyes flickering shut as he returned the kiss.

Hoya let out a low groan as he tugged harder on Woohyun's belt loops, bumping their hips together, tongue darting out to explore Woohyun's mouth, rediscovering old territory.

'You've gotten better at kissing since we last did that,' Hoya chuckled breathlessly against Woohyun's lips when they broke apart, and Woohyun cleared his throat, scrambling after scattered thoughts.

'What- what are we- you- what about Wooyoung?' Woohyun finally managed, stepping back from Hoya.

'What about me?'

Woohyun whipped around at the voice, eyes widening at the sight of Wooyoung leaning at the entrance.

'Shit, Wooyoung, I'm sorry, I just-' Woohyun started in a panic before stopping as Wooyoung's smile grew wider. 'Why are you smiling?' He glanced at Hoya, his eyes narrowing at his matching smile. 'What the fuck is going on?'

'This is us,' Wooyoung started as he wandered over, 'inviting you to leave your- what was it- sad lonely single life and join us in our... um... disgustingly content domestic one.'

Woohyun blinked. 'How long were you standing there exactly?'

'The entire time,' Wooyoung replied nonchalantly.

Woohyun stared, and looked between Wooyoung and Hoya. ‘I don’t understand.’

‘We’re both still attracted to you. And we thought we might see if you’re still attracted to us. Judging by the kiss, you’re at least still attracted to me,’ Hoya said with a grin.

‘I’m- What exactly are you saying?’ Woohyun asked helplessly, knocking away Hoya’s hand reaching for his belt loops.

‘We’re asking if you wanna date us,’ Hoya replied, reaching forward again.

‘Just think of us as one person,’ Wooyoung suggested, ‘With two dicks.’

Hoya turned to shoot Wooyoung what could only be described as a judging look. ‘No. That’s weird. I see why you asked me to speak to him first.’

‘In all fairness, you didn’t do much explaining,’ Woohyun pointed out.

‘Yeah, I could have just kissed him too, you know, I was quite good at that.’

Hoya flapped a hand behind him at Wooyoung and finally caught Woohyun’s belt loops, pulling him forward.

‘So. Do you want to date us?’

Woohyun sucked his bottom lip into his mouth while he deliberated, and Wooyoung snuck up behind Hoya, resting his chin on his shoulder and slipping his arms around his waist, one hand sliding down Hoya’s outstretched arm to play with the waistband of Woohyun’s jeans.

‘So I’d be allowed to kiss either of you whenever I felt like it?’

‘And more,’ Hoya said with a cheeky grin.

‘I’d be in a relationship… with both of you,’ Woohyun said slowly and Wooyoung and Hoya nodded, Hoya jerking his shoulder a bit when Wooyoung’s chin dug into it. ‘You realise this could end in disaster.’

‘All relationships could,’ Wooyoung replied.

‘And if you think about it, we have a fairly good track record with each other,’ Hoya pointed out, ‘The only reason our relationship ended in disaster was because of your parents.’

Woohyun snorted. ‘Oh, they’d be thrilled by this turn of events, god, can you imagine?’

‘Their feelings aside, what do you think?’

‘I think,’ Woohyun said slowly, ‘that I have to be crazy, because, yes, I would like to date both of you.’

‘Yes,’ Wooyoung cheered quietly, punching the air.

‘If I’d known this was a date, I might have dressed nicer,’ Woohyun commented, slipping around them to head towards the door, causing Wooyoung to detach from Hoya as they turned to follow.

‘I’ve seen you in worse,’ Hoya and Wooyoung said in unison and Woohyun paused to shrug in acknowledgement.

‘One thing I must ask, why corner me in the bathroom?’ Woohyun asked when they were at their table again, the waiter apologising that their food was maybe a little cold.

‘Because we have a history with public bathrooms,’ Wooyoung told him seriously and Woohyun blinked at him.

‘We do?’

‘I confessed to you in the school bathroom,’ Hoya started and realisation dawned on Woohyun’s face.

‘And I hit on him at the urinals, right. I get it.’ Woohyun nodded before laughing. ‘Did you guys offer to pick me up so you’d have an excuse to take me home?’

‘Our bed’s bigger,’ Hoya told him.

‘Because you know the size of my bed.’

‘I peeked.’

Woohyun folded his arms. ‘Who says I’ll put out? This is only the first date after all. Am I really that kinda guy?’

‘Yes,’ Wooyoung and Hoya said instantly and Woohyun grinned.

‘You know me so well.’

april

‘Um,’ Sunggyu said intelligently when he walked to the back of the shop just in time to see Wooyoung press Woohyun against the shelves and kiss him. The two turned to look at him standing there, his eyes wide with surprise. ‘Weren’t you dating my other ex-boyfriend?’ he asked, pointing at Wooyoung with the pencil in his hand.

‘Yes,’ Wooyoung replied, and then pointed at Woohyun with a grin. ‘He’s dating your other ex-boyfriend too now.’

‘Come again?’

‘You offering?’ Woohyun said with a grin, and Wooyoung turned to him indignantly.

‘Are we not enough for you?’ he demanded and Woohyun laughed, and reached forward to give him a quick kiss.

‘Could I get an explanation, maybe? Slowly,’ Sunggyu said, looking between the two of them, looking bewildered. ‘And no making out in the store,’ he added after a short pause.

‘So what did you want to tell me that you couldn’t at the shop?’ Junho asked, dropping his keys in the fruit bowl and Sunggyu laughed.

‘Guess what I found out today?’

‘What?’

‘Woohyun is now dating both Wooyoung and Hoya.’

Junho stopped what he was doing and turned to face Sunggyu, the fridge standing wide open in his hand. ‘What?’

‘Are you trying to cool down Korea? Close the fridge,’ Sunggyu said and Junho let it swing shut before walking over to Sunggyu.

‘What do you mean he’s dating both of them? Haven’t they been together for like, seven years or something?’ Junho asked.

‘They asked him out,’ Sunggyu told him.

‘Like, as a team?’

Sunggyu nodded. ‘He’s just. Joined their relationship.’

‘Why did they tell you and not me?’ Junho demanded and Sunggyu laughed.

‘I caught Woohyun and Wooyoung kissing and asked for an explanation, I don’t think it was favouritism, if that’s what you’re worried about.’

Junho sat down next to Sunggyu. ‘So they’re all sleeping together.’

There was a brief pause before Sunggyu replied. ‘Yeah.’ There was another pause, with Junho staring off into space. ‘You’re trying to figure out logistics, aren’t you?’

Junho snapped back to reality. ‘What? No. Yes. A little bit. I can’t help it. Completely involuntary reaction.’

‘The logistics aren’t really hard to figure out.’

‘See? You obviously had the same reaction,’ Junho said. ‘You did seem a bit distracted today.’

‘It’s a rather distracting idea,’ Sunggyu defended and Junho laughed, leaning forward to press his lips against Sunggyu’s, Sunggyu’s hand coming up to rest on Junho’s hip.

‘That it is,’ he murmured against his lips, ‘That it is.’

'Have you seen Sunggyu's tattoo?' Wooyoung asked, shunting himself up onto his shoulder to look at the other two.

'His new one?' Woohyun said, kicking the blanket off the bed when it got caught on his foot. 'Yeah.'

'New one?' Wooyoung's forehead creased in vague confusion.

'He has the anarchy symbol on the inside of his thigh,' Hoya told him.

'The anarchy symbol,' Wooyoung repeated and Hoya chuckled.

'Yeah, he said it was a spur of the moment decision that he's not sure he stands behind fully.'

'He also has a rather detailed yin yang symbol on the back of his right shoulder,' Woohyun added idly.

'Oh. That was after me,' Hoya said with a shrug, and then glanced at Wooyoung with a grin. 'Why were you thinking about his tattoo?'

'I was just commenting,' Wooyoung said defensively.

Woohyun turned over to lay on his stomach, cuddling the pillow underneath him, Wooyoung, nudging him with his knee when he almost fell off. 'This bed wouldn't fit five, would it.'

'If we all squished it might,' Wooyoung commented.

'We've spoken about that too. We would have approached them, but we didn't know if they'd go for it or not, since they're in a relationship and all,' Hoya told him, and Woohyun shot him a glance.

'Oh, settled for me, did you?'

Hoya ran his hand across the top of Woohyun's back with a laugh. 'Hardly settled.'

'Started small, maybe, but definitely didn't settle. The reason why this is the first you've heard of it is that we haven't discussed it since we asked you out,' Wooyoung told him, shifting onto his stomach as well, looking Woohyun in the eye.

'Sunggyu did seem a bit taken aback when he heard about this little arrangement,' Woohyun mused and Wooyoung nodded.

'It's one thing asking you to join us, but if we approached them...'

'As much as we want them to join us, we don't want to cause trouble in their relationship,' Hoya sighed.

'Maybe it wouldn't,' Woohyun mumbled into his arms.

'Yeah, maybe, but would you really want to take that risk?'

Woohyun considered this for a few seconds before sighing and turning onto his back, Wooyoung letting out a little grunt as his arm landed on his back. 'I guess not. I suppose I'm not that selfish.'

'You say we're settling for you, and yet you're thinking about them,' Wooyoung yawned, turning onto his side.

Woohyun pulled him in for a kiss, reaching out blindly for Hoya’s hand behind him.

‘Nope,’ he said, ‘Besides, you’re the one who brought them up in the first place.’

september

'You've been spending a lot of time with Hoya lately. Should I be jealous?' Sunggyu said with a laugh when Junho walked into the bedroom, putting his book down on the bedside table.

Junho snorted. 'Hi to you too. Don't think I don't know about all the times Woohyun and Wooyoung drop by the record store. I've just missed dancing.'

'I don't think I've ever seen you dance properly,' Sunggyu commented and Junho flopped on the bed.

'You've missed out,' he said airily, then chuckled as he wiggled his way up the bed, pushing himself up to kiss Sunggyu. 'I haven't had opportunity to dance for ages, so I'm a bit rusty. It's great knowing the owner of a dance studio though.'

'Oh, so it's because he owns the studio, not because he's your hot ex-boyfriend or anything.' Sunggyu nodded.

'Hot, you say? Is that what you think of him?' Junho teased, tracing the dark black crisp lines of the fortissimo newly tattooed on Sunggyu's wrist.

'They're all hot, you know that,' Sunggyu said dismissively.

'Still thinking about them together?' Junho laughed, twisting his legs with Sunggyu's and Sunggyu pulled him closer to kiss him again, breaking away to mouth down his neck.

'Mmm, not so much anymore. At least, not exclusively.'

Junho's eyebrows raised and he looked down at Sunggyu in interest. 'Oh? Care to explain?'

'What, you haven't thought about them?' Sunggyu lifted his head to smile slyly at Junho, rolling so he was lying on top of him, Junho's knees raised and opened for him to fit between, back and feet planted on the bed.

'Thought about them how?' Junho asked, playing innocent and Sunggyu let out a small chuckle, dipping his head to press his lips to Junho again, a little more forceful, a little more tongue.

'Whenever you're off at the dance studio, I can't be held responsible for the scenarios my mind concocts,' he murmured against Junho's lips.

'Oh, please share,' Junho whispered, his arms loose around Sunggyu's neck.

Sunggyu traced a path down Junho's neck with his tongue before replying. 'Are you telling me you haven't thought about you being all sweaty from dancing, Hoya pressing you up against the mirror, and you being able to see what he's doing to you reflected around the room infinitely, mirrors reflecting mirrors reflecting mirrors, his hands and lips on you.'

Junho's breath caught a little in his throat. 'Is that what you think about?' he murmured, 'Do you like the idea?'

Sunggyu responded by nipping at Junho’s collarbone, and Junho let out a tiny hiccup of breath.

‘Tell me what you imagine. Tell me what you want to see,’ Junho whispered hoarsely, tugging at Sunggyu’s shirt so he could kiss him again, tugging at his bottom lip with his teeth.

Sunggyu shifted, moving against Junho, and Junho tightened his knees at his sides briefly.

‘Hoya kissing you hard, hard enough for your lips to be bruised and puffy before he makes his way down your neck, leaving a trail of marks, teeth marks that make you cry out.’ Sunggyu’s voice was pitched low as his hand ran up Junho’s stomach underneath his shirt, fingernails scraping slightly against his skin. ‘I want to see him make you vocal.’ On the last word, he twisted Junho’s nipple lightly and Junho let out a strangled gasp, arching up, and Sunggyu pushed his shirt up, Junho lifting his arms, assisting in the removal of his shirt, and Sunggyu tossed the shirt off the bed, leaning down to kiss Junho hard.

Sunggyu’s fingers danced up the side of Junho’s neck, their noses bumping every so often. ‘He likes leaving marks, doesn’t he?’ Sunggyu murmured thoughtfully, pressing lightly on the artery on the side of Junho’s neck. ‘I’d love to see your skin littered with his teeth marks.’

‘As for Woohyun… those lips of his would look magnificent wrapped around your dick, your legs over his shoulders, your fingers tangled in his hair.’ Junho let out a small whimper at Sunggyu’s words, arching up as Sunggyu ground down, bumping his lips against Sunggyu’s in an imitation of a kiss, his fingers fisting in Sunggyu’s shirt.

‘I want to see Wooyoung’s fingers wander,’ Sunggyu murmured into the skin just below Junho’s ear, and Junho lifted his hips slightly when he felt Sunggyu’s hand snake around him, sliding across his lower back. ‘Want to see them slipping in and out of you, stretching you until they can’t anymore.’ His hand slipped down the back of Junho’s pants, a finger running along the cleft of his ass, pressing slightly. ‘I want to see you spread out for the world to see.’

A whine bubbled from Junho’s throat as he arched upwards again, grinding their erections together, Sunggyu’s t-shirt digging into his neck with the force Junho was pulling at the material. He released the collar to wrap his hand around Sunggyu’s neck, pulling him down into a messy kiss.

‘Why are you wearing so many clothes?’ he panted against Sunggyu’s lips, and Sunggyu’s answering chuckle was hoarsely strained. He pushed himself up off Junho, stripping his shirt over his head as Junho fumbled with his pants button. Sunggyu slipped off the bed to kick his pants off, Junho preferring to wriggle out of his on the bed.

‘I bet Wooyoung took you,’ Junho said breathlessly, kicking his pants off the bed, as Sunggyu leaned over to open the bedside drawer and Sunggyu glanced at him. ‘I bet he fucked you hard and rough. Fuck, I’d love to see you on your hands and knees with him behind you, fucking you to your elbows.’

Sunggyu gave a strangled laugh and tossed lube and a condom onto the bed, crawling on immediately afterwards to lick his way into Junho’s mouth, his fingers digging into Junho’s hipbones.

‘What is that?’ Sunggyu chuckled, drink in hand, half-heartedly peering over to where Woohyun and Junho were huddled over a bag.

‘Crowns for the birthday boys!’ Woohyun announced with glee, turning around and holding up two silver items.

‘Those are tiaras,’ Wooyoung deadpanned from the couch and Sunggyu raised his eyebrows.

‘I turned thirty-four yesterday, I’m not drunk enough to wear a tiara,’ Sunggyu said and Junho divested Woohyun of one of the tiaras and sauntered over to Sunggyu.

‘Then I suggest you drink more,’ he said sweetly and arranged the tiara on his head, Sunggyu feebly attempting to fight him off.

‘You’re not even trying, man,’ Wooyoung called and Sunggyu glanced over and snorted.

‘You’re already wearing yours!’ he pointed out and Wooyoung shrugged.

‘I have had enough to drink.’

‘He doesn’t need much to drink before he’s at the tiara wearing stage,’ Hoya chuckled, handing Sunggyu a drink.

Sunggyu took the drink, shifting his original drink to his other side and taking a sip absentmindedly before looking down at his hands. ‘Why did you give me another drink?’

‘Didn’t I hear you say you needed to drink more?’ Hoya asked innocently.

‘I haven’t finished this drink though!’ Sunggyu exclaimed, holding up his original glass and Hoya shrugged. Sunggyu rolled his eyes and downed the last of his first drink, passing the glass off to Junho and sipped on the second drink.

Junho snorted and took the glass to the kitchen, shaking his head.

‘Hyung, you’re old now, you probably shouldn’t drink so fast,’ Wooyoung told him serenely.

‘It’s your birthday tomorrow,’ Sunggyu told him incredulously, ‘You are two days younger than me, what is this hyung bullshit?’

Wooyoung grinned at him and raised his own glass, and Sunggyu shook his head with a mild chuckle.

They got more raucous as the night wore on, and when the clock hands ticked towards midnight, Woohyun was leading Junho and Hoya in a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday, Wooyoung and Sunggyu sitting side by side on the couch, enough alcohol in their system to cloud judgement.

Which is why, when the song finished and Sunggyu noticed that it was indeed past midnight and officially Wooyoung’s birthday, he declared ‘Birthday kiss!’ loudly and pulled Wooyoung towards him, sealing their lips together.

The room fell silent as Woohyun, Hoya and Junho gaped, wide eyed, as Wooyoung’s eyes fluttered closed after barely a moment’s hesitation, his hand coming up to rest at Sunggyu’s waist as he deepened the kiss.

Junho stared at their tongues sliding together, and swallowed when a small noise curled from Sunggyu’s throat, and Wooyoung pulled him in closer. Junho snuck a tentative glance towards Hoya and Woohyun, to find them staring as well, Woohyun gripping Hoya’s arm.

Sunggyu shifted, his hand getting a better grip on Wooyoung’s neck, his other hand slipping up his shirt and Woohyun let out a little whine, breaking off immediately as he whipped his head around to look at Junho, his eyes widening and a flush rising in his cheeks.

‘Shit, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-‘ he started, meeting Junho’s eyes, and Junho felt a rush of exhilaration when he looked at the panic in Hoya and Woohyun’s eyes as they looked at him.

‘Why are you apologising? I really don’t- I’ve fantasised about Wooyoung doing a lot more to Sunggyu,’ he admitted, watching them carefully.

Hoya coughed, his eyes growing wide and Woohyun’s mouth dropped open.

‘And both of you,’ he added, and paused thoughtfully. ‘I’ve thought about the five of us in just about every possible permutation. No need to apologise.’

‘Are you serious?’ Woohyun blurted, and he and Hoya exchanged a quick glance. ‘We didn’t want to say anything because we thought- we didn’t know if- we didn’t want to cause any trouble-‘

‘Are you saying you two want us?’ Hoya broke in, and Junho felt a grin tugging at his lips.

‘Do you want us? Because we are more than up for it,’ he countered and Hoya glanced at the oblivious Wooyoung and Sunggyu and then at Hoya before his face split into a grin as he looked at Junho again.

Junho looked between the grinning Woohyun and Hoya and the still kissing Sunggyu and Wooyoung, before crossing over to the tiara'd pair, crouching down in front of them and reaching up to put his hand on Sunggyu's far cheek, coaxing him to break the kiss and look at him, Wooyoung making a little disgruntled noise when Sunggyu's lips left his, and Sunggyu met Junho's eyes with his own, his pupils dilated and almost taking over his entire iris, his breathing heavy and his lips puffy.
Junho pressed his lips to Sunggyu's in an open-mouthed kiss laced with a chuckle before turning to Wooyoung, who was blinking at them.

'Happy birthday,' he breathed and leaned forward to kiss Wooyoung, his hand resting on his neck, his tongue tracing his lips. Sunggyu made a small noise, his thigh shifting under Junho's hand.

'Hold on,' he protested, and Junho broke away from Wooyoung to give Sunggyu a quick, searing kiss, before leaning a bit more forward, unfolding himself from his crouching position to slide his knee between Sunggyu's legs, his mouth next to his ear.

'Turns out Wooyoung would be more than happy to fuck you into next week, and Hoya and Woohyun would love to watch- and join in. So all five of us are willing and as much as we were enjoying the show you two were putting on, I for one was getting a bit jealous. So, birthday boy, am I allowed to touch?' he murmured into Sunggyu's ear, his other hand still playing with Wooyoung's collar. Sunggyu's fingers tightened on Junho's bicep, digging into the flesh at his words and Junho could hear the audible swallow.

'Fuck yes,' Sunggyu breathed and Junho's lips curled into a smirk and he pulled back enough to kiss Sunggyu hungrily again, nipping at his bottom lip before moving, straddling Wooyoung and grabbing his collar with both hands, fastening his lips to Wooyoung's as if they'd give him air.

Sunggyu's eyes were fixed on Woohyun and Hoya and he heaved himself from the couch, glancing down at Wooyoung and Junho kissing enthusiastically with a smile pulling at his lips before he returned his attention to the other two, both of whom were looking at him with wide grins on their faces. Sunggyu reached out when he got close enough to, sliding his arms around their waists, drawing them in, bumping his forehead against theirs softly.

'Hi,' he murmured, glancing between them, getting chuckles and soft 'hi's in return. He lifted one arm from Woohyun's waist to place it on his cheek momentarily, before leaning in and pressing his lips softly to his, turning to kiss Hoya immediately after, his fingers drawing patterns on the back of Woohyun's neck. Hoya pulled him a little closer, sliding his tongue along Sunggyu's lips and Sunggyu parted them to deepen the kiss, his eyes falling shut. He broke away from Hoya and turned to
Woohyun, biting at his bottom lip before soothing it with his tongue, kissing him as Hoya's lips trailed down his neck.

'Boo,' Junho said, laughter in his voice, jumping with his hands on Sunggyu and Hoya's shoulders, and Sunggyu and Woohyun broke apart to look at him. He grinned at them. 'Oh, please, don't mind me.' He turned to Hoya and pulled him into a kiss, pushing Hoya backwards with the force of it, and right when it looked as if Hoya was about to over-balance backwards, Junho broke away and latched onto Woohyun, leaving Hoya laughing in surprise.

'I feel like I should thank you for the birthday kiss,' Wooyoung said, slinging an arm around Sunggyu's shoulder. 'Because this is the best birthday present ever.'

Sunggyu laughed and dropped a kiss on the corner of Wooyoung's mouth. 'Yes, it is,' he agreed. Wooyoung reached out for Hoya's hand, lacing their fingers together and
Sunggyu glanced at Junho and Woohyun- who were still attached at the mouth. He leaned on Wooyoung and kicked them lightly.

'Hey, what about the birthday boys?' Sunggyu demanded, as Woohyun and Junho stumbled.

Junho waved a hand dismissively at him, going to reattach his lips to Woohyun's again. 'You guys can amuse each other, we’re busy.' He broke away from Woohyun, keeping a hold on his waist as he leaned over to grab Hoya's hand and yank him towards him, his lips brushing Woohyun’s again as he straightened up. 'Hoya, come with us. I have something I'd like to try.'

Hoya dug in his heels at Junho's words, laughing as he twisted away, wrenching his hand from Junho's grip and reaching for Wooyoung and Sunggyu, Junho turning to pout at him in surprise.

'Why?' he whined and Hoya raised an eyebrow.

'I seem to remember that whenever you said you had something you wanted to try I ended up a little scared and uncomfortable.'

Junho rolled his eyes. 'Okay, so bondage wasn't your thing, it's fine, Sunggyu likes the occasional bondage. I promise, no ropes.'

Wooyoung glanced at Sunggyu in surprise and Sunggyu gave a small shrug, as if to say 'what'.

Hoya shook his head a little, leaning into Wooyoung, and Junho looked between Wooyoung and Woohyun balefully.

'Guys, why is he still so vanilla, come on.'

'I am not-' Hoya protested, and Junho rolled his eyes, striding over.

'Whatever,' he muttered, and kissed Hoya again, pressing him up against Wooyoung.

'I don't think he's particularly vanilla,' Wooyoung mumbled and Sunggyu hid a snicker.

'Junho, most people are vanilla compared to you. I'm vanilla compared to you,' Woohyun said, wandering over to raise an eyebrow at Junho.

Junho broke away from Hoya to glance back at Woohyun. 'Sunggyu keeps up fine. And comes up with ideas of his own.'

Woohyun, Wooyoung and Hoya looked at Sunggyu, their eyebrows raised.

'What?' he demanded, looking between the three. 'I know you're faking that surprise. Especially you.' He poked Woohyun.

'Do you know what the main problem is here?' Junho asked, slinging his arms around Wooyoung, Hoya and Woohyun.

'You scare people in the bedroom?' Wooyoung remarked dryly, leaning his chin on Hoya's shoulder.

'I don't find him scary,' Sunggyu muttered and Junho flashed him a smile.

'No. We're all wearing too many clothes.'

2025
september

Sunggyu shambled into the lounge area, the house still new enough that he had to crack his eyes open and pay attention to where he was going. He sniffed absentmindedly and pulled his blanket tighter around him, peering into the kitchen to see Wooyoung moonwalking away from the stove after he’d poured some pancake mixture in the man, humming to himself.

Sunggyu blinked and glanced behind him so he could move back enough to attempt leaning against the couch without crashing to the floor, winding his hand out of his cocoon to scratch at his head, wiping his eyes for good measure.

‘Morning!’ Wooyoung said cheerfully, glancing in his direction, already singing by the time Sunggyu grunted in some sort of acknowledgement and return of the greeting.

‘She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene,’ Wooyoung sang in English, spatula in hand.

‘What,’ Sunggyu managed weakly.

Woohyun shambled out from the bedroom, yawning and shaking his head, blinking and suddenly seeming a lot more awake than Sunggyu thought was necessary for that time of the morning- he glanced up at the ceiling to make sure that the light flooding the house was coming from the bulb above him and not the sun.

‘People always told me be careful what you do!’

‘Am I dreaming?’ Sunggyu asked Woohyun weakly and Woohyun chuckled and leaned down to kiss his cheek.

‘Nope,’ he replied cheerfully and moved into the kitchen, his hand catching Wooyoung’s waist as he moved passed him and joined in singing.

‘Billy Jean is not my lover,’ they sang in unison, ‘she’s just a girl who says that I am the one.’ Sunggyu scrunched up his nose at the falsetto harmony that was just the tiniest bit off. ‘But the kid is not my son!’

‘What’re you looking so confused about?’ Junho asked, leaning against the couch next to Sunggyu, and Sunggyu turned to look at him.

‘Is this normal?’ he asked and Junho studied Wooyoung singing and nodding in front of the frying pan, and Woohyun moonwalking as he carried plates to the table, before patting Sunggyu on the shoulder.

‘Seems pretty standard to me,’ he said, pushing himself off the couch, spinning and raising onto his toes, grabbing his crotch and grabbing at an imaginary hat, letting out a loud ‘Ow!’. Sunggyu decided his time was best spent blinking at Junho in a manner he hoped conveyed how much he was judging him right at that moment.

The three in the kitchen were in the middle of singing the chorus- loudly and passionately- when Hoya emerged from the bathroom, his head bobbing to the tune.

‘Ooh, pancakes!’ was all he said when he glanced into the kitchen.

‘Did I really willingly choose to live with four morning people?’ Sunggyu wondered aloud, ‘What was I thinking?’

‘Cheer up, hyung,’ Hoya said, slinging an arm around his shoulder. ‘You get pancakes.’

‘Has anyone actually seen my Michael Jackson boxset?’ Wooyoung asked once the pancakes were almost demolished.

‘Have they even been unpacked?’ Sunggyu replied, and the five of them glanced into the lounge at the various half unpacked boxes that were there- far less than when they’d moved in two weeks prior, but still enough to be used as temporary counters.

‘I didn’t see any with the other cds,’ Woohyun said around a mouthful of pancake.

‘Did you not maybe take them to the studio?’ Junho asked and Wooyoung paused.

‘Maybe,’ he said and glanced at Hoya, who shrugged.

‘I don’t know. I can ask Jieun to check,’ Hoya suggested, referring to the receptionist at their studio.

‘I can check when I get in later. It was just a thought,’ Wooyoung said, waving him off.

‘Yes, mom, it’s all still going fine. Yes, we are all comfortable living together,’ Woohyun said patiently into his phone later, as Hoya was about to walk out the door. Woohyun gave him a small wave before sighing and returning his attention to the phone. ‘Mom, despite your worries, this really is working, okay? Stop doubting. Please. I have to go. No, I’m not making an excuse, I have work. Bye, mom. Love you too.’

‘Your mom again?’ Junho asked with a laugh, fixing his jacket.

‘Yeah,’ Woohyun sighed. ‘You’d think after two years, she’d learn to accept it.’

Junho shrugged. ‘Well, she seems to like us all well enough.’ He glanced at his watch, then turned to look towards the bathroom. ‘Sunggyu! Hurry up!’

‘Coming!’ the mumbled cry came and Sunggyu emerged wiping his mouth a few moments later.

‘See you later,’ Junho told Woohyun with a grin, leaning in for a quick kiss before moving to the kitchen to say goodbye to Wooyoung.

‘You have some toothpaste-‘ Woohyun told Sunggyu, pointing in the vague direction before wiping it off the corner of his mouth for him.

Sunggyu wiped his entire mouth on the back of his hand again. ‘Thanks.’

Wooyoung followed Junho out of the kitchen to press his lips against Sunggyu’s and Woohyun’s.

‘We’ve really gotta go, Sunggyu,’ Junho told him, slipping his shoes on and giving Woohyun a nod.

‘Am I holding us up?’ Sunggyu asked indignantly, squeezing Woohyun’s hand briefly before heading to the door.

‘Bye!’ Junho said, herding Sunggyu out the door.

‘Shouldn’t you be heading off too?’ Wooyoung asked and Woohyun sighed.

‘Yeah. Yeah, I’m going now. See you later.’ Woohyun gave Wooyoung another kiss and headed towards the door, glancing in the fruit bowl and raising an eyebrow.

‘Well, maybe if you weren’t in such a rush,’ Sunggyu’s voice said reproachfully as the door opened again and Wooyoung looked at him in surprise. ‘Took the wrong car keys,’ Sunggyu explained and Woohyun tossed him the ones he’d just picked up. Sunggyu fumbled the catch, and dropped both sets of keys on the ground, Woohyun by the door by the time he’d picked them up, grinning as Sunggyu handed him his keys, after double checking.

‘Thanks for breakfast,’ Sunggyu called as the door swung shut behind them and Wooyoung grinned in satisfaction.

And then scowled at the dishes in the sink, before sighing and rolling up his sleeves.

It’s not like he had to do dishes often.
