I need to make this quick even though I am used to writing a novel when things come to an end. I like the idea of closing this chapter because I am really ready to move away from these experiences even though they shaped me so much

Well, I was on Facebook today, saw Steve's profile pic, and thought "hmmm, I wonder what Kelly's been up to", so I pop over to LJ and, BLAM! Engaged!?! Holy mother-F-ing shit!!! Well, congratulations! And that isn't one of those "Congrats, but I 'm actually secretly hoping that the entire universe falls down on your head" kind of sentiments, I truly am happy for you. I always tell everyone that it was me being a complete douchebag, not you being a certain B-word, that was the main reason why we broke up and cut all contact with eachother. In some weird freakish twist of karmic fate, I've had to deal with leftover baggage from my wife's SIX-YEAR relationship with her ex, so yeah, I totally understand the effect people can have on your psyche and hope I didn't mess you up too badly. As for me, my experience with you helped a lot to prepare me for my current marriage, and for that, I am eternally grateful. So, this is me hoping that we can put all our previous bitterness behind us and act as old friends if we ever run into eachother in
