Haven't you watched that movie 'Signs'?...if not you should. There's a reason for everything no matter how small. Maybe you should try to smile more on your journey home and show the Universe just how optimistic you are! lol

i used to have a coffee mug featuring eeyore that said, 'optimistically pessimistic.' earlier today i referred to said mug when someone commented about being positively negative. i really liked that mug... haven't seen it in years. hrm.

anyway, i wonder if your former optimism billboard will become one of these.

Clearly its telling you that in this age of post-modern consumerism optimism is dead and all of us are so completely messed up that the only way for us to work out our own feelings, which we keep bottled up away from everyone, is to find an expensive therapist whom we can spend all our money talking to instead of engaging in conversation with those around us.

Or someone paid to have the sign changed and it means absolutely nothing.
