I got up early and looked out and there was this thing. It took me a long time to remember what it was, but I believe it's called the sun. Holy shit, how beautiful is that. I had almost forgotten what it was. Now I just hope it hangs out for a while before the thunderstorms.

a meterologist the other morning told me (via the magic of tv) that, while we have more than average rainfall for May, we are still behind on rainfall for 2009.
i think we should clear that up this week - it's supposed to rain. some. more.
