Since things aren't so dismal, I think I'll reintroduce a little gloom to your life by pointing out that I gave you $400 back in April to buy eyeglasses, and to help cover rent.

I could really use an extra $400 about now to help pay the credit card bill I racked up winterising the boat, so if you're up for repaying the favour...

Actually, I've been thinking about that too of late. Of course 'I'm up for repaying the favour'. However, I do not really see the need to have posted it publicly. You could have just as easily emailed me, or god forbid, given me a phone call. *shakes her head*

Actually, I couldn't have used the other means of contacting you quite so easily. I've forgotten your phone number and email address, but was able to find your LJ username by peeking at comments on old entries of mine.
