The internet has changed since I first started LJ, which was around Sept. 2001. I've been digging in my heels and resisting this change for quite a long time, but sometimes the best way to deal with change is to embrace it, rather than fight it

Oh, I was using delicious as an adjective, not as a reference to another social media site.

But you can have discussions on FB (though not threaded ones).

Tragic! I want to keep up with you, but experience has shown that I won't follow you elsewhere, just like I didn't follow the other folks I wanted to keep up with. Still, tell me where, if you're willing. Maybe I'll remember to drop in occasionally. If I don't, don't take it personally: I'm Facebook friends with my kids and my two older grandkids, and Facebook is what they use, and I rarely remember to sign in.

I'm in plenty of other internet social spaces. I just have weird personal issues with LJ that I can only get over by leaving.

This is where I am the most though. Nothing else is quite as seamless for me, but I've been a journaler since I was 11.
